IMNHO, readability is enhanced by using TLAs -or any acronym(s)- whenever
possible.

FWIW, I use TLAs from SMEs to write EUDs, SOPs, RFPs and GUI docs - using
Win NT on an IBM PC, with 800 MHz CPU, CDRW, 19' VGA CRT, and 256 MB RAM.
DBY, the CSR from CIS installed a CDRW without configuring my BIOS. I had to
"DIY". FYI, a missing DLL caused a GPF in Win and my PC BSODed.

For instance: "Currently, our FM RF WAN uses a 9QPR to send CCSK packets to
a UNIX box running ODBMS at the NOC to CAC PSR data. The BPR is a function
of the BER, caused by CNR, SNR, and RFI. Using the RLT, PERT, and RSSI
indicators, a tech diagnoses MCCs, RTUs, CMs, and GMMs to determine
interference levels. Based on this PSR data, SNR is increased by using a
CBC, RAU, or filter to decrease noise dBm to the appropriate SNR level."

IMHO, TLA's also add EOU to HTML created with FP, DW or FM. I always convert
my JPG, TIFF, BMP, and WMF files to GIF. AVIs and MPEGs I convert to SWFs.
Fortunately, I don't need ASP, JSP, Perl or GI to publish. I'm on the LAN
using a 100 Mbps NIC, so I FTP my WWW page to our RFS ASAP, and I'm GTG.

We're on PST not GMT here at SLB in CA, so I'll sign off.
