Since the topic of getting page numbering to work properly in Word
periodically arises, today's issue of "Woody's Office Watch for Mere
Mortals" seems particularly relevant. (Head over to
www.woodyswatch.com/wowmm/archives.asp and search for newsletter #2.10,
mailed out on June 7th.) It contains a description of some of the main
causes of this problem, solutions, and pointers to Microsoft knowledge base
articles that provide more details.

If you live in Microsoft Office, it's well worth your while subscribing to
this and others of the newsletters produced by Woody Leonard and his
frequently irreverent crew of Office Experts. (Subscribe at
www.woodyswatch.com/) The newsletters are free, timely, and packed with
information you can't find anywhere else--at least not easily. And so far as
I can tell, I've never received any marketing or spam as a result of
receiving the newsletters--nor have I received a penny for trumpeting their
virtues far and wide which, when you think of it, is a darn shame. <g>
