Considering training before buying software? (was: FrameMaker Training)
Subject:Considering training before buying software? (was: FrameMaker Training) From:D&M Davidovic <davidovm -at- pathcom -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 08 Jun 2001 07:21:05 -0400
Reading the below, I began wondering whether anyone thinks about how a
software package is going to be learned *before* deciding (or giving
approval) to buy it. Is there anyone who, when asking for approval to
get new software, has to show a plan for training themselves/others on
it? Is there anyone who, before approving the purchase, asks for such a
plan from the party submitting the proposal?
