In this vein, I actually have three versions of my portfolio:
hard-copy (printed out and presented in a nice folder), CD (collection
of full-sample PDF documents, as Bruce explains above), and an
HTMLHelp version I developed with RoboHELP (shows samples only, not
full documents).

I send out the HTMLHelp one most often, since the file size is small,
it can be viewed on most Windows PC's, you can make it interactive,
and it shows I know how to use RoboHELP effectively. Most people
comment on how different it is than the standard, run-of-the-mill
portfolios they usually get... a good way to be remembered! If they
like the samples and want to see any of the full documents, I can then
send them the appropriate one(s).
