Good comments Bill. Nielsen's article is definitely not a scholarly analysis
of PDF. The article is simply an editorial, nothing more. Be that as it may,
I agree with him about usefulness of (most) PDFs in general, but for
different reasons. The PDF planet article mentions the following.

> PDF -- than with problems inherent in the format.

I've said this many times. PDFs can be good, I just rarely ever see any.
That's why I can't stand 'em. At the end of the day, usability is not about
what the product is capable of, it's about what gets delivered to users.
