Thanks to rlslists for your post..your first one, in fact.

Based on my observations and those of others regarding this engineering manager, it seems that his bad habit is more a business one than personal, but it nevertheless requires immediate corrective action. My manager and I are working on some measures that should help stop the problem without any repercussions.
