I use CheckIt FastMove from SmithMicro. (http://www.smithmicro.com)

I can create a two pane screen of either the same directory or
different directories on different drives or different computers
(through an included parallel cable). Gives me the date, time and
size of each one. It also displays an icon telling me which filee is
the most current.

You can also use it to open the file on the remorte computer without
dragging it over first.

I use it to keep two laptops in sync. The program cost about $59 and
I use it alll the time.
