I agree with sgodrey's book review. In spite of the title, "The Complete
Idiot's Guide to Technical Writing" is a _great_ newbie book, and it is not
written "down" to "idiots." I highly recommend it, and I don't even know the
authors (yeah, go girrlz!). Although much of the content I knew from
experience, the book serves as a good reminder for working tech. writers,
and confirms that we do really know what we're doing!

Plus, it's nice to see quotes from our fellow Techwhirlers!

>>While I haven't read it, several others on this list have recommended
"Technical Writing for Dummies". Apparently it's an excellent resource for
those entering the field. Thanks. DB.<<

I found the Complete Idiot's Guide to be a good resource, filled with actual
industry terms, references, and processes. As many of you know, it even
listed
valuable resources like this list, which is a real help to many tech
writers.
