Don't get me started!!! This is why we need ridiculous warnings such as "may be
hot when heated." This is why the awards committee has so much trouble whittling
down the list of contenders for the Darwin Awards each year. It seems to me that
common sense is in pretty short supply (how's that for irony?). And many posts
on this list point out that if one actually has and uses common sense, one is
often overruled by pointy-haired bosses who have none. I am so grateful that my
manager, and even those a few levels above me, have and use common sense (or at
least have sense enough not to interfere with those who have it).
