Greetings everybody,
I have created UML based design diagrams for a project, using the Rational
Rose software. The Rational Rose diagrams usually run across multiple pages.
To create a design document (in MS Word) which incorporates these diagrams,
I published the diagrams. So, the files are now in a .html format
(originally, they had a .mdl extension). I have hyperlinked these diagram
files with the design document. Now, my problem is when I print these
diagrams, only the first page gets printed. The subsequent pages do not
print.
The problem does not end here. In the printed diagrams, the elements that
comprise the diagrams appear to be inflated!

I have tried the following:
1. Converting the published html files into gif format and editing
image size in Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. But this leads to dithering of
the diagrams and again, only some portion is printed.
2. Copying these diagrams in MS Power Point, adjusting the size
according to the size of the slide and saving as a gif. Again, the print out
is fine if taken from Power Point slide, but dithering happens when the gif
file is printed.
3. I have heard that Coral Draw software provides the facility to
define the print area per page for the graphics. However, I have not tried
this option as in that case, the person who wants to print the design
document will need Coral Draw to do so.

Anyone out there has faced a similar situation? Please suggest ASAP.

Thanks and regards,
Aruna Gupta.
