Hi Ellen! :)

Since I joined the TW field, I have maintained a portfolio of work samples that indicates the variety of projects that I have worked on. (I usually group them in order of completion date so progress is implied, but you could group your samples by project type if desired.)

As someone else mentioned earlier, I can pick and choose the samples that I discuss with the interviewer based on the job, industry, etc. But I always have the collection maintained in the same place so that I can present the pieces accordingly.

As yet I haven't sat on the TW interviewER side of the desk, but I would guess that samples that can be removed from a binder and discussed during the interview would also be appreciated by the interviewer. If I understand correctly what you described in your message, it sounds like it's a bit complicated and may require more work and time to maintain as well as explain to an interviewer.

Just MHO, so I HTH! Have a great day!

Hello:

I was wondering how many of you out there have a comprehensive portfolio
that you bring to interviews? I usually select a few samples depending on
the job, and then put that together nicely to bring to the interview. <rest snipped>
