A business plan is an outstanding, and, in my mind, critical part of
starting
a business, especially if you ever plan on talking to a bank about any kind
of loan.
I also strongly suggest speaking to an attorney about your options for
incorporation and what type of entity you may want to incorporate as. With a
litigation-happy society, legal CYA and protection can make the difference
between long term survivability and one upset customer torpedoing your
plans.
