Or buy one of the business plan software packages as a starting point. It
should question you or have you fill in fields with information about your
intended business. They should also bring up areas you might not have
considered and should explain things you don't understand.

I wrote a business plan (without knowing I was writing one) when I started a
small weekly newspaper 20 years ago. Didn't have enough sense to go find a
book (if one existed outside MBA) and PCs didn't exist then - at least they
weren't in my field of vision at the time.
