Hi Jennifer,
Acrobat writer 4.0 or above has the option of creating the bookmarks
automatically within the document. But, this can be done so only when styles
are defined in Word document
* Once all the heading styles are defined in Word doc, you have to go
to File--->Create Acrobat PDF.
* This will open "Acrobat PDF writer for MS Word" screen.
* Select the "Bookmarks" tab
* Select the 'Word Headings' check box from the "Structure &
Bookmarks" group box, . You can uncheck styles which do not need a bookmark.
For ex styles like bodytext, bodytext indent, etc.
* Click on Create...PDF automatically stores all the headings from the
document.
* It is really an excellent tool for online pulishing!
Word of caution: Do not have small fonts in italics & bold bcos, it gives a
smudge appearance.
With Warm Regards,
