This should be a Dilbert cartoon. Are you sure it isn't?
There's an article on the iCE.org that references "new fonts" and "warm
fuzzy" on the same page, if not in the same breath:

and I did find some warm fuzzy fonts for you, but I bet your customer will
take one look at them and run screaming back to the cold serifness of Times
Roman:
