Beauty in nature as perceived by humans is due to asymmetry,
sometimes subtle and often times not. Placing design elements
slightly ?off balance? is not only warmer and more esthetic, but
also improves readability/usability. So was the credo during the
Renaissance era: ?nothing in excess and everything in proportion?.
