I remember reading an article a few years ago (I couldn't tell you where),
in which some psychologist studied what people look for as "beauty" in other
people. Asymmetry wasn't it. The study found that people found members of
the opposite sex with symmetrical facial features more attractive. The less
symmetrical the face was, the less interested the study participants were. I
don't remember if they looked at body symmetry, I just remember the point
about facial symmetry. (Mostly because I'm not--a devastating discovery at
the time.)

Are they both the same size?

Adapting old programs to fit new machines
usually means adapting new machines to
behave like old ones.
