I don't think that anyone would bother inventing their own names in API
documentation. Would they? About the closest that you might come is not
using the proper terms in a manual designed for clerical inputters.

Anyway, a portfolio should never just be a collection of samples thrust
at the interviewer. Each sample is a talking point in a sales pitch (in
my on-line portfolio, which is done in Acrobat, I use notes to give the
spiel that I would give in person).
