I have a wonderful little game on my Palm. It looks like I am very busy
when I play it....

IMHO, they are paying you to be there. It is not your fault that things are
not running. I actually use downtimes like this to read things I have been
putting off or to develop new skills. When I worked for a large aerospace
company in the Seattle area, I had a week after I was hired with nothing to
do (no unusal there!). So, I took some video courses that were available to
the employees and learned all about Productivity Plus.
