In terms strictly of work, it's a goal/destination in itself: I am a
technical writer, I want to become a better technical writer. I'm assuming
this poll is work-related, so that's what I checked.
Of course, in RL terms, it's a stepping stone to achieve other goals, such
as going on holiday to Furrinparts, buying all the books I ever wanted, and
keeping myself and my cats housed and fed. <g> Especially the cats. They
bite.
