The other side of that coin is that some kinds of "technical" writing are
also only worth $10-20 per hour, regardless of the talent level of the
writer. It would be interesting to know what kinds of projects are being
farmed out via entities like eLance. I suspect it's mostly pretty low-level
work, rather than anything challenging or complex.
