Fellow tech writers,

I am a contract technical writer in the Silicon Valley area. I am finishing up a contract today and will be looking for more work in a month or so, after a vacation. Because the market is very competitiive right now, I really want to tweak my portfolio.

In the past, I have simply emailed to hiring managers appropriate writing samples as PDF files. Now I would like to do a better job of presenting examples of my work to hiring managers and would appreciate hearing how other tech writers, contract or not, go about making a strong presentation to a prospective client/employer. Thanks.

Tony
