Subject:Framescript problem From:Bonnie Granat <bgranat -at- att -dot- net> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 15 Aug 2001 09:25:22 -0400
Throughout our Help files, wherever we
have a bold word followed by
punctuation, there is a space after the
word and before the punctuation.
Our writer who created the Help files
from our Frame files says that Frame is
putting a line-ending character into the
HTML and that the problem is a bug in
the browser, which is supposed to ignore
such characters, which are only for ease
of viewing, he says.
Does anyone know a way to fix this
quickly in some way? We've concluded
that it cannot be fixed, and rather than
go with the current Help files, I am
about to propose that we strip the BOLD
field altogether.
Lacking a solution, which is worse --
bad spacing or absent bolding?
