What I suspect is the real reason that Adobe is trying to get the charges
dropped is that the EFF and ACLU need a test case to get the law overturned
by the court system. This would be a great test case for them, and Adobe
knows it. I think that Adobe is trying to get the case dropped to save the
law itself.

I'm assuming this is based on innocent until proven, which I heartily agree
with, and it doesn't conflict with my statement that he was arrested for
doing that. I didn't say he was convicted, just that his defenders aren't
telling the whole truth, because they gloss over this little fact.
