I find it absurd that a company would require writers to
use a particular piece of software but then refuse to buy
it for them. I would venture to guess that a management that
has a down-the-rabbit-hole attitude like this about
software probably isn't the greatest to work for anyway.
I'd be sending my resume out, personally...
