Need Info on the tools and technologies used for Tech Writing

Hi All,

I am preparing an article on the tools and
technologies used by technical writers. My company is
not into much sophisticated software. So I basically
use MS-Word and RoboHelp (a very old version). can
some of u'll give me inputs on the various tools that
u guys r using.
