You didn't come across as saying that the task was beneath you. Not at all - and
I'm sorry if I sounded like I was assuming that

My point was that the job can have some very unusual aspects to it. Personally,
I rather like the unusual parts. They keep the routine from getting dull - and
the best of them can make some great war stories a few years down the line.
