There once was a talented tech-writer,
Whose sense of humor was lighter.
Dan Hall was his name,
A master of Frame,
And a Word 2000 prize-fighter.

In the field he had worked for five years,
Creating manuals with sweat and with tears,
He got his degree,
In English, you see,
So he could explain engineers.

Now he is looking to find,
A job of the tech-writing kind,
And it's his intuition,
He could fill this position,
For he has a very keen mind.

His prose reminds one of Mallory,
And his graphics should be in a gallery,
He also does fine,
With Web-site design,
So now we should talk about salary!
