I companies that have merely reduced the number of
writers, those who are left behind are left with more
to do.

It has meant a shift in priorities for me, as well
as a shift from being proactive to reactive, which I
definitely don't like. However, as each new crisis
arrives immediately on the heals of the last, and
there's no one to share the load with, I have little
choice.
