I also have been unemployed for three months. I spend far too much time reading and
enjoying others' muses.

Oh, I loved the laid (off) remark.

A few years ago I worked for an educational non-profit organization. Their
correspondence and reports were sent to the highest educational and political
levels. Spell check never did catch the report with the word "public" with (you
guessed it) the missing "L" in several places. The organization's president nearly
had apoplexy!!! I'm so glad that was before my time there and I had no involvement!
