The canonical texts on minimalist doc are:

The Nurnberg Funnel: Designing Minimalist Instruction for Practical Computer Skill, by John Carroll, MIT Press 1990
Minimalism Beyond the Nurnberg Funnel, edited by John Carroll, MIT Press 1998.

There are undoubtedly other sources.

Greetings, all! Trying to locate a text on developing
minimalist documentation. In a recent conversation,
someone mentioned the book and I (foolishly) did
not write the title down. Any suggestions?

Many thanks!
