Also, check out Cast <http://www.cast.org> and download Bobby from their site. Bobby may not be a perfect compliance tester, but it will give you a good start and will probably point out a few things you might otherwise overlook.

You might also want to check out the HTML Writers Guild's accessibility mailing list, Aware Techniques <http://www.hwg.org/lists/aware-techniques/index.html>.

Another good site for some links is AIR-Austin Web site <http://www.knowbility.org/AIR-Austin/index.html>. It's primarily for a local event where groups compete by building accessible Web sites for non-profit organizations in 8-hours, but the site also has a resources section.

If you would like to get a better picture of sightless Internet access, download the trial of IBM's Home Page Reader <http://www-3.ibm.com/able/hpr.html> and try it out with the monitor turned off.

This may not be what you want to hear, but I doubt you really need training
per se on Section 508. It's just not that complicated, assuming you have a
good working knowledge of HTML. You could read the Web Content Accessibility
Guidelines on the W3C site and then read Section 508 itself in less than
half a day.
