Hi, guys...have a few Word documents that I'm converting to pdf using
Acrobat 5. I'm using to save PDFs as V4 (that's the version of the
reader deployed on the current desktop.)

The files look great, graphics are smashing, thumbnails and bookmarks
create automatically, everything is cool and right with the world...

except...

I need to link to some web sites from within the document. Out of my
control and not changeable, internally, they've created some web URLs
with spaces in the URL (I HATE that...I wish they would discover the
_ character). I link to those web sites from the Word document and
they work fine, with the %20 displayed in the browser (IE5.5) in
place of the space.

However, when I create the PDF, the space is removed, the words run
together. and hence, 404.

Is there a setting that tells Acrobat/Distiller to retain spaces in
the URL?

Thanks
