This is just a general 2 cents worth:

In a lot of organizations, whatever interview
technique you encounter is an aberration.

Interviewing potential new hires is not a frequent
or routine event at these organizations.

The whole process suffers from the same pitfalls
and artificiality found in any dating situation
(for both parties involved).
