Good morning,

I wondered if anyone out there has used Microsoft Publisher to create larger
sized documents and then successfully create a PDF. I've had great success
with smaller "newsletter type" publications. The problem. My boss wants me
to put up our Annual Cancer Report (about 50 pages) and the Tumor Registry
Report (20 pages) as PDFs on our Intranet. Both docs are currently written
in Word and she prefers the "Publisher" look...

Is the process feasible and fairly easy to accomplish? Or am I going into
"Microsoft Hell" by attempting this?

Hah! I just hit this stumbling block today.

Depends on the graphics you need to include. My source files are large, high-quality TIFFs. The Publisher file blew up -- even though the graphics total about 30MB on their own, the Publisher file grew to >150MB and refused to save any more (I have 256 MB of RAM).

This was a 16-page booklet. Linking the graphic files did nothing to reduce the Publisher file size.
