Good advice; my apologies for not mentioning style sheets.

It speaks volumes about how HTML is usually written that I thought of the font tag but not style sheets, doesn't it?

I've often wondered whether one of the appeals of XML is that the original intent of HTML is now hopelessly muddled with formatting tags.
