Response:

It sounds like you're doing a lot of things right. One additional thing I
might suggest is to have her perform the final peer edit, proofread, QC
check, or whatever you call it in your group, on everything that goes out.
As a tester, she might have some surprisingly good skills in this area. As a
bonus, she is required to read everything that everyone else writes, which
is a good way to absorb the team's style.
