So you let the list go ape for a while due to lack of
information? Geez, you're just as bad as the
developers you describe! *g* In that case, if specific
syntax is required, I'd say the doc manager needs to
push for at least scenario 2, if not 1. Syntax needs
to be correct.

FWIW, shouldn't a doc MANAGER know how to fight this
battle instead of relying on a mailing list?
