I haven't seen Books 24x7 mentioned on this list before, but this
service has a plethora of Photoshop books on its site. These are the
real third-party manuals, browser-ready full text and graphics, from
Sybex, Sams, O'Reilly, Microsoft Press, etc. Eric and Deborah Ray's
"Mastering HTML 4.0" from Sybex is included.

Books 24x7 is available through public libraries. It is FREE if you have
a library card and your library offers online access. Even if your
library doesn't subscribe, you can get a free (somewhat crippled) trial.

My local library system subscribes, and I use this service a *lot.*
Maybe everybody on the list already knows about it, but just in case, I
offer it anyway. I think it might be pretty helpful to some of us.
