Jo, et al,

I would like to apologize to all Martians for my earlier comments.  It was
insensitive, condescending, improper,  and as Jo pointed out, Martians would
probably not "use such a verbose (and, I must say, archaic) style, or such
blatantly incorrect syntax."  (I must add, however, that since I do not know
any Martians personally, this is just a guess.)  I hope that I have not
offended anyone.

(I understand about it being Friday.  I will try to go back to my insightful
and courteous self) :-)
