You could do what I do, and ask them for a desktop, load all the software
that you need on to that and then continue to use your laptop/notebook.

If you need to put information you have written from your laptop to your
desktop (or vice-versa) burn a cd.

Ayaya outsources all desktop support through IBM near Denver (I'm in
NJ). The "RULE" is that they cannot install applications on any asset
that does not have an Avaya asset tag. Since my HW is not an Avaya
asset, it does not have an asset tag...hence, no installation of
Avaya licensed software.
