Good morning Charles,

This is my favorite place to seek out the "true" meanings of acronyms. Type
in UA on this site and you'll only find 35 results!

http://www.acronymfinder.com

I'll be interested to find out what UA meant on your response. In the
medical field, the acronym UA has always been defined as urine analysis or
urinalysis. SIG in medicine is something totally different as well! It
denotes a "gastroenterolgy" procedure.

Writers do need take to care in some using of the acronyms if their
documentation is read in more broadbased areas.

Have fun and good luck.
