I don't know if this is a valid question or an easy one, but I've been thinking about it for sometime, so I thought I would send it out to all of you.

How do lone writers decide if they need another writer on the team? I know that many lone writers can juggle several books just fine, but when do you decide enough is enough and start to build your tech-pubs team? Assuming that your company has the funds of course, when do you stop being the one-person doc team and pick up some recruits?
