Are we talking "automated" process or process?

A process of some complexity will include human intervention. Humans
perform their piece of the process according to specific prescribed
parameters at specific points in the overall process and their output
is evaluateed against a set of rules and allowed responses. If it
doesn't meet specific parameters, it doesn't pass through the quality
gate.
