The company that I work for sells a Lotus Notes CRM application, Maximizer
Enterprise for Notes (www.me4n.com). In the latest version, we ditched all
Notes-based help and moved to a context-sensitive HTML help (using .chm).
The code that we used to lauch the help was quite simple, and I used
RoboHelp to make the help file itself.

The customers are thrilled with the change, and it's working very well. We
have the help file launching when customers press F1 or pushing the "Help"
action button. The context sensitivity is provided by pulling the name of
the form that the customer is on when they launch the help and associating
that with the correct topic, using some code that we built - fairly standard
VB code, adapted for the Notes environment.

I've been working in the Notes-world for about a year, before which I spent
3 years in Microsoft Access land, so I would be more than happy to answer
questions (off or onlist) about the rather unique challenges associated with
documenting Lotus Notes systems.
