I've been asked to write some training material for a mobile-phone service
certification process. (Currently, we do the certification: one of our
customers has asked us to train them to do their own certification.) This is
a quality issue. I'd like to include some reading material on the importance
of quality/of doing things right. Mobile phone services are a fairly young
area, and I don't know of any books/websites that deal specifically with the
importance of quality control *in* this area (hey, maybe I should write one
<g>) so what I'm looking for is something more generic but readable advising
on the importance of quality processes in an intelligently convincing
manner.

Any recommendations? Please send me your recs offlist and I'll post a
summary. Books or good websites. I'm off on holiday as of 6pm tonight GMT,
and intend to go nomail on Techwr-l to avoid coming back to a thousand
e-mails, so the summary won't be posted till next Wednesday at earliest.

Ta muchly,

for the long additional sig: it is added automatically and outwith my
