Regarding your question "When researching a subject on the internet, how do
you organize important
URL's that you've visited?", you say you've used downloaded bookmarking
tools, so it sounds as though you're way beyond me, but I'll reply anyway:
Mostly I just keep my Netscape bookmark list open in a separate window so
that I can quickly organize it as I capture URLs. For really intensive
research, I create a document into which I capture and organize the URLs,
then add notes.
Incidentally, I'm a big fan of using Acrobat to download websites and turn
them into a PDF...easier to browse, index, search, and excerpt. Similarly,
I turn the TECHWR-L daily digest into a PDF and put it in a TECHWR-L
folder, ostensibly for indexing and searching, but I've not done it
yet...too busy.
