yes, but they (OPM) also publish a comprehensive list, found at
http://www.usajobs.opm.gov/

And there are usually several jobs for Technical Writers/Editors across the
country (but most in DC area) - be sure to also check for SENIOR Technical
Writer.

Here are a few pertinent listings:

131.267-026 WRITER, TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS
132.017-018 EDITOR, TECHNICAL AND SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS
132.367-010 EDITOR, INDEX

The official DOT names make good resume keywords (at least
I hope they do!) because that gives HR people nice, clearly
defined pidgeon-holes for job candidates.
