It is important to call things, and people, what they are. This morning's post, however, reminds me of nothing so much as the time that I proposed, at age 8, to write to the President of the United States and demand that the word "day" be relieved of its ambiguous meaning as both the 24-hour period (including darkness) and the hours of sunshine. Fortunately, my father persuaded me that the President had more pressing issues.
Like most of the posts that I have read by Andrew, this one tended more to the aggrandizement of its author than to effect any substantial addition to knowledge.
