Amen to that.  Will somebody PLEASE tell all the frustrated novelists that
tech writing is not a way to write while you "pay the bills"?  I've met this
type, and they either become paralyzed by the technical detail, or they
focus on beauty at the expense of accuracy.  If you resent your job because
it's not the kind of writing that you *really* want to do, then go wait
tables until you write the Great American Novel.
